Pay attention to dimensions, they get the point across but they are tiny.
I put all of them out along the length of each end of my yard by the road on both sides of the road (owners permission for across the road!) so traffic can see it as they approach my yard, i used them all because they are pretty small and figured maybe 6 signs would catch their attention to slow down lol I live in the country, but on a paved secondary road, a half mile from a factory and there was already a serious accident involving the neighbor at the end of my driveway as the kids were waiting for the bus to arrive, the collision occured barely 10ft from where the kids were standing. 1 car was my neighbor pulling into my driveway, two other separate vehicles were factory workers who were late for work. If I pass the factory headed to my house, I have to make a left hand turn into my driveway, crossing over the opposite lane to get into my driveway, use my blinker, and they will STILL fly past me on my left hand side halting me from being able to turn without causing a wreck. My kids aren't allowed to play outfront anyways, but I am sick of them thinking they are nascar drivers flying by my house and others as if it doesnt matter! so hoping these help slow them down until they at least get past my house! The signs were simple to assemble, slide the metal posts into the signs, stick them in the ground. had some heavy winds and storms a few times now and hasnt phased the signs any so id say durable! But if your kids and pets mean something to you and you want drivers to hopefully slow down, spending the money on signs like these are worth it! a small expense to hopefully avoid a tragedy!
I really like that this sign includes kids and pets, as I have both running around. We have so many speeders in the neighborhood and I live on a blind corner. I only wish the metal holder was taller so they could be seen further away. These hold up great to all weather and can last many years!
