Works super, no more spills in microwave
These are the handiest items ever! They fit the average bowl and prevent me from burning my fingers or using clumsy oven mitts to get hot food out of the microwave. I've been gifting them.
First, I use mostly decent size cereal bowls. Ones that are narrower at bottom than top and fairly high.Not TINY, but not large.These covers don't go to the top, which is fine because it's easy to grab at sides like I would anyway.They also aren't very structured, again, GOOD because if they were, you wouldn't be able to use for different size bowls.They are NOT meant for big bowls. I could likely use for SMALL plates, but haven't tried.Bottomline: for the money, happy as it is not so easy to grab a HOT bowl out of the microwave unless you want to use a silicone mitt or pad and then the bowl is STILL hot so a little hard to eat with the mitt or pad. But this is like a little cozy for it.
These are nice to have if you microwave often. They made a nice gift for someone who microwaves often.
